ArmInfo.In the comprehensive RA program to prevent the economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, the re-equipment of the health system is a priority. This was stated on March 26 during a meeting of the Government of Armenia by Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan.
In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister presented in detail the concept of the state, which includes 5 packages and a program of anti-crisis measures.
First of all, Grigoryan pointed out the need to implement a number of measures that will eliminate the decrease in liquidity due to deformation of consumption. At the same time, he recalled that the assistance would concern a group of people who lost their jobs due to the epidemic, and the government's task will be to ensure the social security of socially vulnerable groups.
The Vice Prime Minister noted that under the current conditions there is a need to create an effective reserve management system, in particular food, medicine, raw materials, etc. In this regard, he emphasized the importance of creating a new financial model in which expenses, actions, sources of borrowed funds will be accurately indicated funds.
In turn, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan indicated that priority in the current conditions should be not only packages of assistance to business and socially vulnerable groups of the population. In this vein, he noted that the state should carry out preparatory work so that in the post-coronavirus period, business and the public remain competitive. , said Pashinyan.
However, he said that from Wednesday (April 1 - Ed.), Business and socially vulnerable groups of the population will already be able to receive assistance packages.
At the next government meeting, according to the prime minister, work on creating assistance packages for new groups will continue.
