ArmInfo.The Minister of Economy of the Republic of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan presented the progress in implementing anti-crisis measures developed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia on the economic bloc. As the minister noted during a press conference on April 9, the government has already begun the process of providing business assistance in 4 packages of anti-crisis measures.
In particular, according to him, within the framework of the 1st package of measures (subsidizing, co- financing and refinancing of loans), applications of 25 beneficiaries for 1.4 billion drams have been approved, of which 520 million drams have already been transferred. Within the 2nd package of activities, which relates to the promotion of farms and cooperatives, applications for 1.1 billion drams were approved, of which 600 million drams have already been issued. Regarding the 3rd package of events, Khachatryan indicated that applications of 27 business entities (the turnover of which is from 24 to 500 million drams) for 280 million drams have been approved, 87 are under study. According to the 5th package, assistance was rendered to 1826 business entities (the number of employed employees of which is from 2 to 50). Khachatryan emphasized that all the submitted anti-crisis packages were developed on the basis of the proposals received and concerns expressed from the business. "We listen to everyone, group the voiced problems and suggestions, and as a result, draw up unified measures that should affect a large number of business entities," the minister said, noting that the agency is open to further discussions and dialogue with business.
In turn, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan added that the government continues to work on clarifying anti-crisis measures so that as a result, everyone who should become the beneficiary of the proposed programs will receive the necessary assistance from the state.
