Precious metals prices rising in Armenia for the second week in a row 

ArmInfo.Precious metals continue to rise in price in Armenia, having slightly reduced their growth rates - from 13.9% in the previous week to 5.1% in the current  one.  

According to the " State Depository of Precious Metals and  Precious Stones of the Armenian Ministry of Finance, from April 6 to  12, 2020, the agency set the following selling prices for precious  metals: gram of gold (measured bullion) - 25959.29 drams (slowdown in  weekly growth from 7.6% by 1,6%), silver- 228.35 drams (slowdown in  weekly growth from 11.3% to 3.4%), platinum -11 678.96 drams  (slowdown in weekly growth from 10.7% to 3.8%), and palladium -36  284.26 drams ( slowdown in weekly growth from 26% to 11.4%).  

According to international exchanges, April 9, 2020 at 5: 57pm Moscow  time the spot price of a troy ounce of gold was $ 1677.4 (daily  growth of 0.19%), silver - $ 15.39 (daily increase by 0.2%), platinum  - $ 748 (daily increase by 0.13%) and palladium - $ 2211 (daily  decline by 0.18%).  American economic analyst John Butler believes  that every investor should keep from 10% to 20% of gold in their  investment portfolio, as yellow precious metals have good chances to  grow up to $ 5,000 per ounce in the long term.  He is confident that  gold has all the prerequisites for rapid growth. He bases his opinion  on the data of past years in terms of the current situation.
