
ArmInfo. The Russian PJSC Sovcombank and the Armenian company IDRAM (together with CJSC <IDBank>) and LLC Mobile Payments agreed on a strategic partnership in the field of financial services.
According to PLUS Magazine, the parties intend to cooperate in providing clients from Russia and Armenia with the possibility of replenishing accounts and electronic wallets opened at Sovcombank PJSC and <Idram> LLC.
As part of the first stage of the partnership, participants established a new company in the Russian Federation that will develop innovative financial and technical solutions. The main focus of the company will be projects, primarily aimed at improving the convenience of banking operations, simplifying the technology of payments and transfers between customers.
Combining the experience of creating high-tech financial services for their customers in each of the countries participating in the cooperation will provide a synergistic effect to achieve strategic goals.
According to Sergey Khotimsky, First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sovcombank PJSC, the basis of long-term partnerships will be the expansion of financial solutions in Russia and Armenia. At the first stage, customers will be able to make instant cross-border banking operations using our payment terminals located in more than 1,000 settlements of the Russian Federation, which will contribute to the development of a cashless payment system in both countries.
According to Arsen Kdenyan, director of <Idram> LLC, the creation of a joint company with one of the leading Russian banks reflects the correctness of the chosen strategy for the digitalization of key services. <We are very interested in Sovcombank's experience in creating remote customer service channels. At the same time, the possibility of replenishing the electronic wallets of our customers, as well as the cards of our partner's clients in the Republic of Armenia, IDBank together with Sovcombank will provide additional convenient ways to receive funds>, he noted.
