SRC: The planned indicator of state budget revenues for the Q1 was  exceeded by 9.5 billion drams, but the uncertainty still remains high

ArmInfo.According to the results of the Q1 of 2020, the actual fulfillment of the state budget in terms of tax revenues amounted to 349 billion drams, exceeding the  target by 9.5 billion drams.  Chairman of the State Revenue Committee  (SRC) of the RA David Ananyan announced this on April 23.

At the same  time, the head of the SRC noted that the fulfillment of the state  budget for the Q1 of this year turned out to be 49.5 billion drams  higher than last year (299.5 billion drams), urging, however, to  focus attention not on past achievements, but on further actions.

In this regard, he said that today at a meeting of the Government of  the Republic of Armenia the possibility of introducing amendments to  the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Budget was discussed, since  further forecasts related to the implementation of the budget are  likely to be adjusted downward. "Yes, of course, exceeding planned  targets is a good signal, but the uncertainty in terms of future tax  revenue collection still remains high," Ananyan concluded.
