In this vein, he noted that in the post-coronavirus period negotiations with the Chinese side will be resumed, which should be more substantive. In particular, according to Papikyan, during the discussions it is planned to identify the most affordable options for selling products at cost and exporting to other markets, which will create significant opportunities for Armenia.
<There are questions that need a deeper approach. But taking into account the fact that this is a matter of relations between the two countries, at this stage I do not want to say anything new>, the minister said.
To recall, in 2003, an agreement was signed on the creation of a joint venture between the Shanxi Joint- Stock Company for the Production of Synthetic Rubber and Nairit CJSC, according to which the Shanxi-Nairit chloroprene rubber plant was established on the basis of Nairit-2. "(valid in China). The share of the Armenian side in the enterprise is 40%. According to then Deputy Minister of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic, Joseph Isayan, the Armenian co-chair of the enterprise, Shanx-Nairit produces rubber, but at a loss for itself. .
