
ArmInfo.Armenia will sign a number of documents on amendments to financial agreements with the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the French Development Agency (FDA). This is stated on the website of the RA government.
In particular, according to the justification of the draft decision, the RA government approved the signing of the document on amendments No. 1 of the financial agreement with the European Investment Bank "Solid Wastes of Yerevan - Stage 1> for EUR 8 million dated October 16, 2015. With the signing of the document, it is planned to extend the loan term until December 29, 2023 and other related periods, including the change in the approved spread and fixed interest rate.
At the same time, the RA will sign a document on changes No. 1 of the loan agreement on budget assistance with the FDA for 40 million euros. The loan agreement is aimed at implementing government reforms in the country in the areas of fiscal, social, ensuring environmental stability and strengthening competitiveness. With the signing of the document is expected to change program components. <Considering that the technical completion of the program was planned for December 31, 2019, there was a need to extend it until December 31, 2021, which will make it possible to channel the funds provided for component 1 for the implementation of more urgent goals of the RA tax administration and begin financing the work stipulated in within the 2 component of the program>, - says the source.
