Armenian taxpayers have opportunity to fulfill their tax obligations  online by cards

ArmInfo. The SRC has created a new alternative for paying taxes online, the press service of the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia reports.

Economic agents  and individuals may now fulfill tax liabilities on the electronic File Online platform via making payment by  card. In the light of the spread of the coronavirus, taxpayers may carry out the whole process from filing returns to paying taxes without having to visit the committee or a bank.

Formerly, taxpayers had to visit a bank or use banks' electronic  platforms in order to make a payment, whereas today the whole process  of filing returns and fulfilling tax liabilities can be done in a  single electronic system  (https://file-online.taxservice.am/pages/loginPage.jsf). "Sometimes  when making a payment by visiting a bank, company's requisites were  entered with errors, whereas the new system rules out such errors,  since economic agents' data are identified once they are entered into  the system," points out Head of Information Exchange and Management  Division of SRC's IT Department Arsen Gharibyan.

In case the payment is made successfully, taxpayer gets a  notification by email and a message reporting any errors appears on  taxpayer's account on File Online.

Due to the new system, payments are made instantly, whereas  liabilities are transferred by the bank to treasury accounts within  one working day.

Given the spread of the coronavirus, for reasons of ensuring  citizens' safety, SRC is developing new tools for fulfilling tax  liabilities on electronic platform. Soon it will be possible to make  payments from bank accounts on the same platform.
