ArmInfo. A new sales control system at gas stations will be introduced in Armenia. This was announced on July 2 during a government meeting by the head of the bureau for coordinating the activities of inspection bodies Arthur Asoyan.
He noted that, unfortunately, there are still instances when gas station employees do not issue till slips of cash registers. The introduction of the new system will strengthen control over the accuracy of sales at gas stations. With the help of information technologies, it will be monitored with what accuracy gasoline or diesel fuel is measured. Arthur Asoyan noted that the system will be implemented in the near future.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, supporting this idea, noted that an artificial monopoly in the oil market continues to take place. In turn, the state must do everything possible to avoid monopolies in the country, and the rights of citizens would be guaranteed by the state. "If a driver came to a gas station and asked to refuel five liters of <premium> gasoline, it should be exactly five liters and namely <premium>," he added.
