200 million drams allocated to the enlarged community of Akhtal under  the World Bank program

ArmInfo. As part of the <Social Investments and Local Development> program of the Territorial Development Fund of Armenia (DFA) of the Ministry of Territorial  Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of Armenia, 200  million drams were invested in the enlarged community of Akhtal.

This was reported by the press service of the DFA .  Under the second  component of the above program, the enlarged community of Akhtal has  already received 101 million drams, including 150 garbage cans, a  combine harvester, a minibus and one dump truck, the community will  receive another garbage truck in the next two weeks. According to the  source, this year a multi-functional excavator, sprayer, hay  harvester, etc. will also be delivered to Akhtala.

It is reported that the investment in this program was carried out by  the Armenian government together with the World Bank, in addition,  part of the funds was allocated from the community budget. Recall  that in March 2020, the World Bank Council of Executive Directors  approved the provision of a loan of 17.9 million euros to Armenia for  additional financing of the program "Social Investments and Local  Development". The program will assist the Armenian government in  improving the quality, accessibility and applicability of  intercommunal infrastructures and services. Thus, in 55 communities  of Armenia, infrastructure and services considered public property  will be financed.

The program will allow the population of the Armenian communities  through micro-programs to use the restored and modernized social  infrastructures in kindergartens, schools, water supply and drainage  systems, small irrigation systems, community centers, medical  institutions and other local infrastructures.
