In total, according to information, in 2019, Armenia exported 7.575 thousand liters of wine, which is 38.3% higher than the previous year's indicator (against growth by 39.9% compared with 2017, 2.2-fold since 2016, 2.9-fold since 2015 and 2.2-fold since 2014). Of the total volume of exported wine, 63.2% (4.788 thousand liters) accounted for fruit wines, and accordingly 36.8% (2.787 thousand liters) - for grape wines. Export of fruit wines year on year increased by 61%, and grape ones- by 11.3%.
If in 2015 Armenian wine was supplied to the markets of 15 countries, then in 2019 this figure reached 37, which indicates the successful diversification of export markets. Nevertheless, according to the results of the reporting year, the traditional market of the Russian Federation accounted for 75% of wines exported from Armenia, 5.2% was supplied to the US market, 2.7% -China, 1.6% -Poland, 1.6% -Lithuania and 1.4% - Ukraine.
It should be noted that according to the RA Customs Service, in 2019 the customs value of exported wine increased by 25.1% to $ 11.8 million. In addition to the above countries, Armenian wines are also exported in small volumes to Switzerland (1.8%), France (1.5 %), Italy (0.7%), as well as Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Kazakhstan, Georgia, the Netherlands, Canada, the United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Israel, Sweden, Estonia, Bulgaria, Greece, Australia, Austria, Oman, Japan , Spain, Finland and Denmark.
