
ArmInfo. The next meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council has started in Minsk. The Armenian delegation arrived in Minsk the day before.
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and Deputy Foreign Minister Shavarsh Kocharyan represent the Armenian side.
According to the press service of the EEC, the meeting agenda includes a wide range of Eurasian integration issues in the areas of trade, the functioning of the domestic market, competition, industry, technical regulation, etc.
In particular, the Summit will have to consider the implementation of the Agreement on Labeling of Goods and the further development of the labeling system in the Eurasian Economic Union. Also on the agenda is a comprehensive plan of measures in the field of healthcare and sanitary-epidemiological welfare of the population to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 and other infectious diseases in the Union countries.
It is planned to discuss a draft interstate program for cooperation among the EAEU countries in the provision of space and geoinformation services based on remote sensing of the Earth.
At the same time, a map for the development of the EAEU agricultural industry and a map for the industrialization of the Union are planned for consideration. Both projects provide a compilation of information on large projects being implemented, which will allow partners in the Union to formulate production duplications, take into account development trends, and effectively use each other's competencies when drawing up national development plans and investment programs.
