ArmInfo. Ijevan Wine-Brandy Factory CJSC will invest 201.7 million drams in the expansion of production. At a meeting on August 6, the Armenian government satisfied the company's application for exemption from customs payments for imported equipment and raw materials, and also deferred VAT payments for a period of three years.
As noted in the reference - the substantiation of the draft decision, the enterprise operating in the city of Ijevan was founded in 2002. It deals with the production of wine and brandy. As part of its investment program, the plant intends to import containers for storing alcoholic beverages.
Earlier it was reported that more than 300 hectares of vineyards were planted on the basis of the Ijevan wine-brandy factory, among which the varieties Rkatsiteli, Lalvar, Banants and Pino are mainly widespread. The company's products are exported to Russia, the USA, Canada, the Czech Republic and other countries of the world. The plant has 4 own production lines for receiving and processing grapes. At international exhibitions and presentations the plant was awarded many diplomas, gold and silver medals. The most famous wines of the enterprise are "Red Ijevan" "Saperavi", "Gayane", "Nazeli", "Areni". The plant also offers the consumer products made from fruits of quince, blackberry, dogwood, cherries and pomegranates.
