ArmInfo. The Eurasian Economic Commission denies the reports of some Armenian media about the alleged conduct of an internal investigation into the member of the board (minister) for internal markets, informatization, information and communication technologies of the EEC Gegham Vardanyan.
It should be noted that according to the media, Gegham Vardanyan, who was appointed Deputy Minister of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of Armenia after the 2018 revolution, who has been serving as Armenia's representative in the Eurasian Economic Commission since 2019, is suspected of embezzlement and abuse using corruption schemes during tenders.
In response to ArmInfo's inquiry, the EEC press service reported that this information does not correspond to reality.
