ArmInfo. In Armenia, a state duty will be charged for organizing the production of disinfectants. The Commission on Economic Affairs of the RA National Assembly issued a positive opinion on the amendments to the law "On State Duty" submitted by the government of the country.
According to the RA Deputy Minister of Health Anahid Avanesyan, the Ministry of Health is currently registering the start of a number of organizations. We are talking, in particular, about a new type of activity - disinfectants, for the production of which it will be necessary to pay a state fee. This measure, as noted by the Deputy Minister, is based on Armenia's obligations to the Eurasian Economic Union. It should be noted that according to the current legislation, the state duty is charged for the initial state registration of enterprises and products in the 12-fold amount of the basic state duty (1 thousand drams).
Recall that earlier the State Revenue Committee of Armenia issued a message, according to which, within the framework of measures to prevent the spread of a new type of coronavirus, the import of certain types of products into the EAEU territory is exempt from customs duties. In particular, certain types of medical products are exempted from customs duty if, by September 30, 2020 inclusive, the goods declaration is registered according to the customs procedure "Leave for domestic consumption" and a permit for the import of goods issued by the authorized executive body is presented. The list includes goods for the production of medicines, masks and gloves, disinfectants, vaccines, as well as medical refrigerators, syringes, catheters, stretchers, etc. The department noted that the exemption came into force on March 16, 2020.
