ArmInfo. The Ministry of Economy of Armenia continues to carry out visits to processing enterprises during the grape-harvesting season. According to the press service of the department, this time representatives of the Ministry of Economy headed by Deputy Minister Arman Khojoyan left for the Ararat region, where they visited the Proshyan Brandy Factory, Yeraskh Wine Factory and MAP CJSC.
During the visits, the importance of effective organization of reception, weighing and quality control of grapes purchased from villagers was noted. It is reported that representatives of the ministry spoke with winegrowers, who voiced their concerns and spoke about existing problems.
Arman Khojoyan noted that inspections of processing enterprises will be carried out constantly, and in a more active period specialists will be attached to the points of purchase of grapes for daily control over this process.
"By carrying out control at the grape harvesting points, we aim to familiarize ourselves with the ongoing processes on site to make sure whether the weights have been checked. In addition, we will check the documents, which will allow us to make the non-technological processes at the enterprises more controllable," said the deputy minister.
