ArmInfo. The list of the largest taxpayers in Armenia in January- September 2020 continues to be headed by the Armenian-Canadian joint venture "Grand Tobaco"  (against the 2nd position a year earlier), having paid over 36.2  billion drams or $ 74.1 million to the state treasury (with an annual  decline of 10, 2%), of which 1.1 billion drams - on customs duties,  6.4 billion drams - on direct taxes (including profit tax, tax on  income), 29.6 billion drams - on indirect taxes (including VAT,  excise tax). This is evidenced by the published data of the RA State  Revenue Committee.

Gazprom Armenia CJSC moved up to the second position from the third  year earlier. Tax payments to the budget amounted to 34.9 billion  drams, of which 247.9 million drams - for customs duties, 4.5 billion  drams - for direct taxes, 29.8 billion drams - for indirect taxes.

The Zangezur Molybdenum Combine CJSC moved down to the third place,  from the leading first position a year earlier, having paid 31.3  billion drams to the state budget, of which 1.05 billion drams in  customs duties, 12.1 billion drams - for direct taxes (including  income tax, tax on income), 1.2 billion drams - for indirect taxes  (including VAT, excise tax).

Geopromining Gold LLC moved up to the fourth place, from the 5th year  earlier, with tax payments of 16.3 billion drams, of which 1.1  billion drams for customs duties, 9.3 billion drams for direct taxes,  1.2 billion drams - for indirect taxes.

The top five in January-September 2020 is closed by CPS Oil  Corporation LLc., Having jumped from the 10th position a year  earlier. The company's deductions to the state budget amounted to  14.4 billion drams, of which 303.9 million drams - for customs  duties, 253.8 million drams - for direct taxes, 13.9 billion drams -  for indirect taxes. In total, the five leaders paid taxes to the  budget 133.02 billion drams ($ 272.3 million), of which 32.6 billion  - for direct taxes (including income tax, income tax) and 75.7  billion drams - for indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax). In  comparison with the volume of tax payments of last year's five, the  current figure turned out to be 5.3% less.
