Revenue in communication field of Armenia sank by 3.1% by November

ArmInfo. Revenue in the communication sector of Armenia in January-October 2020 amounted to 118.2 billion drams, having decreased by 3.1% in y-o-y terms (against  growth by 1.1% a year earlier). According to the RA Statistical  Committee, the dominant telecommunications segment (90.7%) provided  revenues of 107.1 billion drams, accelerating the y-o-y decline from  2.6% to 2.8%.

According to statistics, in October 2020 alone the total revenue of  the communications sector increased by 7.3% - to 13 billion drams.  The telecommunications segment provided revenue of 11.9 billion drams  in October, with an increase of 8.3% over the reporting month.

In October 2020 versus October 2019, the revenue of the  communications sector showed an increase of 4.3%, with an increase in  the revenue of the telecommunications segment by 6.5%. To note for  comparison that in January-October 2019 the revenue of the  communications sector of Armenia made 121.9 billion drams, of which  110.3 billion drams are from the telecommunications segment.
