National Mall  works to promote the export strategy of Armenia 

ArmInfo. In a post-free difficult period, when the situation of the business was already aggravated by the coronacrisis, the site of National Mall was created in Yerevan,  which represents the association of a domestic entrepreneurial  segment in the name of national interests and businesses.

To date, the National Mall  has already collected about 350 companies around  him, including manufacturers, from which order 100 intend to organize  exports of their products.  In a conversation with the Arminfo  correspondent, the director of the export bloc of National Mall said  that within the framework of the created site, the business is  assisted in the matter of increasing production by attracting  investments and various services. In addition, work is underway to  improve the representation, branding of goods, optimizing logistics  costs.  

Trainings, seminars, etc. are also organized.  ,  director Anna Beklyarova noticed.  In order for the Armenian  manufacturer to be competing competition in foreign markets,  according to Beclairov, it is necessary to engage in promoting  brands, which requires large financial resources. , "said the expert.  In this vein, she  noticed that over the years at the state level, issues related to the  value of the brand Made in Armenia were not lobbied, real attempts  were made to increase recognition. , Beklyarova  appealed.  

In fairness, the expert noted that in the past few days, the Ministry  of Economics began to take some measures for manufacturers, in  particular for their financial strengthening in the domestic market  due to the Turkish Embargo.  However, the problems of the domestic  market, according to the representative of the National Mall, cannot  only be counted the Turkish imports. In this context, she stressed  that in general, imports of imports in Armenia several times higher  than their own production, where strong positions are available only  in categories and (fruits, vegetables, dairy  products).  In connection with the ban on Turkish goods to cover the  local market due to its small volumes, according to Beklyarova, labor  will not be, but in this regard, she noted the following  possibilities.

As another possibility of developing the export activities of  Armenia, Beklaryov pointed to orders from foreign production markets  under its own brand.

In any case, we work, do not cultivate the thresholds of the  government, trying to make everything depend on the maximum that  depends on us, get results. Many people think, and some are even  confident that this project is state, since the format itself  involves the support of the domestic producer. I hope soon we will  establish cooperation with the Ministry of Economy in the enhancement  of the value of Made in Armenia.  

Note that according to the RA Stat Committee, in 2020, Armenia  reduced export volumes by 3.9% to $ 2.5 billion. At the same time,  import volumes amounted to $ 4.5 billion. Which is inferior to an  annual limitation indicator by 17.7%.
