ArmInfo.To assist Artsakh, the Armenian government has developed 20 programs, some of which are still being implemented. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister  Mher Grigoryan during his speech at the National Assembly of Armenia  on April 15. He noted that the total number of beneficiaries who  received assistance exceeded 150 thousand.

In particular, the Deputy Prime Minister presented in detail the  programs implemented by the Government of the Republic of Armenia,  indicating the amounts paid and the number of beneficiaries. So,  according to him, about 600 families who have disappeared as a result  of the war, the Military Insurance Fund paid a total of 1 billion  drams. The servicemen who received a disability as a result of the  fighting were paid 100 thousand drams each for 6 months. The total  number of beneficiaries of this program was 265, who received a total  of 200 million drams. The Armenian government has provided a total of  1.1 billion drams to the families who have sheltered the citizens of  Artsakh. The number of such families was 8,410.  At the same time,  the Government of Armenia fully covered the education fees for 4,210  students for the first half of the year. The total budget of this  program was 900 million drams.

The state provided one-time assistance in the amount of 1 to 5  million drams to families where civilians were killed or injured.   Thus, within the framework of this program, a total of AMD 200  million was paid to 56 families.

The injured servicemen, whose number includes 6,500 beneficiaries,  were paid 3.3 billion drams.  Residents of the communities of  Shurnukh and Vorotan of Syunik region received a one-time assistance  in the amount of 300 thousand, and monthly 68 thousand drams for six  months. The total budget of this program was $ 15 million. drams.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, 77 citizens who lost their  real estate in Armenia were paid a total of 50 million drams. Those  who lost their real estate in Artsakh were paid a one-time assistance  in the amount of 250 thousand drams. The number of beneficiaries of  this program is 5,276, who received a total of 1.1 billion drams.

The beneficiaries of one of the largest programs of the Armenian  government were women and children, who were paid a total of 5.3  billion drams. The total number of beneficiaries was 77,420.   One-time assistance was also provided to the residents of the  settlements that are no longer under the control of Artsakh. The  program provided for a one-time assistance in the amount of 300  thousand drams. Thus, 33,981 people received 10,200 billion drams.

In addition, the Government of Armenia provided one-time assistance  to children under 5 years of age. The number of beneficiaries of this  program reached 13,873, the budget amounted to 300 million drams.   Mher Grigoryan said that the Government of Artsakh was also provided  with a grant of 6 billion drams for the payment of pensions and  allowances, salaries for civil servants, urgent construction works,  and for covering utilities for 3 months starting from December. At  the same time, the Deputy Prime Minister said that free passenger  transportation from Armenia to Artsakh has been carried out since  November.  He also said that to solve housing issues - construction  and providing citizens with housing, a working group was created,  which included a number of deputies. For this purpose, as already  stated, the Armenian government will provide 52 billion drams. In  addition, soon the government of Artsakh, according to the Deputy  Prime Minister, will approve a program to cover the damage caused to  the property of legal entities and individuals.

Within the framework of this new program, the Armenian government, as  he further noted, also intends to provide financial assistance.

"Thus, we are implementing three major programs in Artsakh - social  assistance, housing and compensation for damage. I am sure that we  will work within the framework of these programs throughout the year,  " he said.
