The four telecom operators of Armenia in the first quarter of 2021  reduced tax payments to the state treasury by 8.6% per annum

The four telecom operators of Armenia reduced tax payments to the state treasury in the first quarter of 2021 by 8.6% per annum-up to 7.4 billion drams.   In particular, 23.2 million drams were paid for customs duties in the  reporting period, 1.8 billion drams for direct taxes (including  income tax, income tax), and 3.6 billion drams for indirect taxes  (including VAT, excise tax). This is evidenced by the list of the  largest taxpayers of Armenia published by the State Revenue Committee  of the Republic of Armenia.

In this list, according to the results of the first quarter of this  year, telecom operators are located as follows:" MTS Armenia  "(VivaCell-MTS trademark) - takes the 6th place (against the 5th a  year earlier), UCom takes the 12th place (against the 16th a year  earlier), CJSC" Telecom Armenia "(BeeLine trademark)-the 36th place  (against the 17th a year earlier)," JNC Alfa " (Rostelecom  trademark)-the 124th place (against the 120th a year earlier).

MTS Armenia (VivaCell-MTS trademark) transferred 3.5 billion drams to  the state treasury in the reporting quarter (with an annual decline  of 10.2%), of which 2.9 million - for customs duties, 1.2 billion. -  for direct taxes (including income tax, income tax), 1.5 billion  rubles. - indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).  UCom in the  first quarter of 2021г deducted in taxes budget of 2 billion drams  (an annual increase of 15%), of which 735 thousand customs duties,  363.6 million in direct taxes (including income tax, income tax) and  1.1 billion. - for indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

"Telecom Armenia" (BeeLine trademark) allocated 1.1 billion drams in  taxes to the budget during the reporting period (an annual decline of  42.1%), of which 19.4 million-for customs duties, 555.9 million-for  income tax and 810.9 million-for indirect taxes (including VAT,  excise tax).

JNC Alfa (Rostelecom trademark) paid AMD 408.3 million in taxes to  the budget for the first quarter (an annual increase of 12%), of  which 148 thousand-for customs duties, 143.2 million-for direct taxes  (including income tax, income tax) and 246.4 million - for indirect  taxes (including VAT, excise tax).

It should be noted that in the first quarter of 2020, the four  largest telecom operators paid a total of 8.1 billion drams in taxes  to the state budget, with an annual growth of 2.6 times. At that  time, the companies were located in the following order: MTS Armenia  (VivaCell - MTS trademark), UCom, Telecom Armenia (BeeLine  trademark), JNC Alfa (Rostelecom trademark).
