In 2020, Armenia cuts financing of the Ministry of Emergency  Situations, set in the state budget by 0.6 billion drams

ArmInfo.In 2020, it was originally planned to allocate 15.2 billion drams to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, but following the results of adjustments in connection with the pandemic and hostilities, the allocation amounted to 14.6  billion drams, the acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan said  on June 1 in the parliament during the preliminary discussion of the  annual report 

"On the execution of the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for  2020".

So, according to Janjughazyan, the department, according to the state  budget, within the framework of this financing, was responsible for  the implementation of 7 programs and 15 events.  The main part of the  funds - 11.2 billion drams or about 78% of the expenses was directed  to financing the activities of the Rescue Service. 1.096 billion  drams were allocated for the maintenance of the ministry's staff, and  the remaining funds were allocated for seismic protection,  meteorological service, development of response capacities and a  technical protection program.
