
ArmInfo.ARTEK POWER SYSTEM LLC invests AMD 4 billion 250 million (about $ 8.2 million in the production of high-tech products, in particular, unmanned aerial vehicles on the territory of RAO MARS CJSC in the Alliance FEZ. The company's right for a period of 5 years was approved at a government meeting on June 24.
According to the substantiation certificate to the document, during the implementation of the investment project (2021-2025), 85 new jobs will be created with an average monthly salary of about 450 thousand drams (in the first year), then the salary will reach 550 thousand drams.
In the first year of operation, the company will have about 250 square meters of office space in the Alliance free economic zone, which in 2025 will expand to 1,000 square meters.
Another company, Interactive Smart Technology Fez LLC, was also included by the Cabinet of Ministers in the register of the Alliance FEZ. The company, like the previous one, will be engaged in activities in the field of production and export of innovative technologies. During the implementation of the program (2021-2025), the LLC plans to invest 67.7 billion drams (about $ 130 million), 60 new jobs will be created with an average monthly salary of about 350 thousand drams (in the first year), then the salary will increase to 400 thousand drams. The company will be provided with a production area of approximately 650 square meters.
Note that according to the state register of legal entities, the first LLC was created about 4 months ago - on February 25, 2021, and the second one - a month earlier - on May 13, 2021. There is no free access to information about the owners of these companies.
It should be reminded that the first Free Economic Zone (FEZ) "Alliance" in Armenia has been operating since August 1, 2013 on the territory of RAO Mars CJSC and Yerevan Scientific Research Institute of Mathematical Machines CJSC. The free economic zone, managed by Sitronics, is located on an area with a total area of over 100 thousand square meters, including the Mars plant with an area of 77 thousand square meters and the Institute of Mathematical Machines with an area of 27 thousand sq. m. FEZs function in two directions - high technologies and production of new technologies. One of the prerequisites for the formation of a free economic zone is the production of products aimed at export. As of today, 4 free economic zones have been created in Armenia - "Alliance", "Meridian", "Meghri", and "Ekos".
