Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia sent on an official trip to  Russia to discuss issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation

ArmInfo.Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Narek Teryan will be sent on an official trip to Russia to discuss issues of bilateral trade and economic cooperation.

According to the official website of the government, by the decision  of acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on July 20, for  this purpose the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of  Armenia will visit the Russian Federation (Moscow) on July 21-23.

To note,, according to statistics, in January-May 2021, compared to  the same period in 2020, Armenia's foreign trade turnover with Russia  accelerated the y-o-y growth from 3.1% to 11.9%. Russia holds the  lead both in terms of the total volume of foreign trade turnover ($  879.8 million) and in exports and imports ($ 288.7 million and $  591.1 million, respectively). Exports with Russia brought the annual  dynamics from the 14.6% decline to 31.4% growth, while the import  growth slowed down from 11.6% to 4.3%
