ArmInfo.The State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia has published a list of 1000 large taxpayers of the country, who in the first half of this year paid a total of more than 584 billion 440 million AMD (about 1.2 billion US dollars) to the state budget. In particular, from January to June 2021, the amount of payments to the tax authority amounted to 494 billion 334 million drams, and to the customs authority - over 90 billion 105 million drams.
According to the SRC, the list of large taxpayers is headed by Gazprom Armenia (it paid 28 billion 445 million AMD to the budget). According to the results of January-June 2020, it was in second position with paid taxes in the amount of 25 billion 992 million AMD (9.4% less than the current figure). The second position is occupied by "Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine", with taxes in the amount of about 26 billion 810 million AMD. In 2020, it occupied the third place - about 23 billion 195 million AMD (an increase of 3.6 billion drams or 15.6%).
The apparatus of the Ministry of Defense is on the third place. It paid AMD 25bln 390mln to the budget, which exceeds the last year's figure for the same period by AMD 8.9bln or 54.1% (it was on the 4th line of the rating).
The fourth position is occupied by the "Grand Tobacco" company, with taxes of about 13 billion drams. Last year, the company topped this list - 26 billion 268 million drams . GeoProMining is on the 5th position - they paid 12 billion 423 million drams to the budget. Last year, the company paid about 3.5 billion drams more in taxes to the budget.
On the 6th line is "International Masis Tabak", followed by "Teghout", "MTS ARMENIA", CPS OIL, the tenth is closed by the "Flash" company.
To note, according to the approved state budget for 2021, state treasury revenues will amount to 1 trillion 509 billion 462 million 935 thousand drams. Tax revenues (tax collection and state duty) will amount to 1 trillion 440 billion 136 million 839.5 thousand drams. At the beginning of July this year acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan said that based on the results of tax collections for the first quarter of 2021, adjustments were made and the indicator recorded in the state budget increased from 1 trillion 440 billion drams to 1 trillion 480 billion drams, and then by 30 billion drams, up to 1 trillion 510 billion drams.
