
ArmInfo. Customs reforms are a priority for the State Revenue Committee (SRC). Rustam Badasyan, Chairman of the SRC, announced this during a meeting of the Public Council on Tax Administration Reform.
At the same time, he stressed the need for a radical change in the customs system, which will allow citizens to receive customs services that meet the requirements of the 21st century.
According to the press service of the SRC, the members of the Public Council were presented with a vision of customs reforms, the implementation of the Single Window system and the possibility of paying off customs obligations in the recently launched electronic system of government payments (e-payments). At the same time, the meeting participants discussed issues related to the modernization of the server and network equipment of the SRC. According to the source, during the discussions, Badasyan stressed the importance of introducing an automated system for refunding income tax when paying a mortgage. In this regard, it was noted that the pilot part of the program is planned to be implemented in November-December of this year, and from January 1, 2022, a complete transition to an automated system will be completed.
