ArmInfo. As of August 20, 2021, tax revenues (tax revenues and state duties) of the state treasury of Armenia amounted to 974.2 billion drams, or 94.1% of the planned figure for 9 months, reports the Budget Office of the RA National Assembly, referring to operational data.
According to the source, the collected revenues exceeded the figure for the same period of 2020 by 11.2% or 98.4 billion drams, by 52.5 billion drams or 5.7% over 2019 and by 258 billion drams or 36% over the same period in 2018.
Over the reporting period, transitional overpayments amounted to 4.1 billion drams, against 228.2 million drams in 2020, 136.6 billion drams in 2019 and 55 billion drams in 2018.
To note, according to the approved state budget for 2021, state treasury revenues will amount to 1 trillion 509 billion 462 million 935 thousand drams. Tax revenues (tax collection and state duty) will amount to 1 trillion 440 billion 136 million 839.5 thousand drams. At the beginning of July this year, then acting Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan said that based on the results of tax collections for Q1 2021, adjustments were made and the indicator recorded in the state budget increased from 1 trillion 440 billion drams to 1 trillion 480 billion drams, and then by 30 billion drams, up to 1 trillion 510 billion drams.
