
ArmInfo.Deputy Prime Minister Suren Papikyan (temporarily replacing the RA Prime Minister) sent the Deputy Minister of Economy of Armenia Narek Mkrtchyan to the United Arab Emirates (Dubai).
As stated in the decision of Papikyan, posted on the official website of the government, on September 1, Mkrtchyan will visit Dubai on September 5-7 to coordinate the preparatory work for Armenia's participation in the Dubai Expo 2021.
Earlier it was reported that Armenian companies are invited to participate in the four-day exhibition "Made in Armenia" within the framework of Dubai Expo 2021. Participation in the world exhibition will allow not only to present Armenian goods and services to the world market, but also to establish new business ties, hold meetings with foreign potential investors and partners, the Ministry of Economy of Armenia said. Armenia will spend 650 million drams from the state budget (approximately $ 1 million 250 thousand) to participate in the global exhibition Dubai Expo 2021, which will be held under the motto "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future" and will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022 in Dubai.
