"Of course, this created obstacles, but I am sure that soon we will resolve this issue," the official said. At the same time, he noted that in the event of a worst-case scenario, there is a "plan B". In this regard, he recalled the bypass road, which, however, is not in the best condition, however, it is working. Kerobyan noted that intensive work is underway today to improve its cross-country ability.
"In addition, we are close to starting work on the Kajaran-Sisian road section of the North-South transport corridor. The government intends to invest 487 billion drams (about $ 1 billion) for the construction of this section, "he said.
Recall that in early September, the Azerbaijani side established a police post on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia, blocking the M2 Yerevan-Kapan interstate road near the village of Vorotan, Goris region.
