Armenian government to allocate about 357.5 million drams to complete  15 subvention programs

ArmInfo. On September 16, the Armenian government made a decision to allocate 357 million 458 thousand drams to the regional administrations in Armavir,  Gegharkuniksk, Lori and Kotayk.

As the Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures  Gnel Sanosyan stated, presenting the draft decision, the allocations  will go to the completion of 15 subvention programs in 15  communities, approved, implemented or in the process of being  implemented in 2020-2021, and aimed at developing the economic and  social infrastructures of the communities. The total cost of these  programs amounted to 582 million drams, of which about 357.5 million  drams is state co-financing.

Earlier it was reported that in 2020 14.3 billion drams were  allocated from the state budget for the implementation of subvention  programs in the communities of Armenia. According to the Minister of  Territorial Administration and Infrastructures of the Republic of  Armenia Suren Papikyan, a total of 576 subvention programs were  implemented in 2020, the total budget of which amounted to 26 billion  drams, of which 11 billion drams were co-financed by communities, and  700 million drams were invested by individuals and businesses.
