It should be noted that, according to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia, Armenia's foreign trade turnover with the EAEU countries in January-July 2021, compared to the same period in 2020, reached 17.5% growth (from 2.6% decline a year earlier), amounting to $ 1.4 billion. The negative balance of foreign trade of Armenia with the EAEU countries in January-July 2021 amounted to $ 438.8 million, decreasing in yo-y terms by 7.5% (against growth by 9.8% a year earlier) against the background of export exiting 15.9% - the decline by 34.4% growth with accelerated growth of imports from 4% to 10.3%, the absolute value of which reached $ 469.6 million and $ 908.4 million, respectively. The share of Armenia's foreign trade turnover with the EAEU countries in the total structure of foreign trade amounted to 32% in January-July 2021 (against 31.3% in the same period of 2020), while the share of Russia increased from 30% to 30.9%. Namely, in the structure of Armenia's foreign trade with the EAEU countries, Russia's share is 96.6%.
