ArmInfo. Armenia is exploring in detail the possibilities of launching a regular ferry service. Armenian Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan stated this in an interview to Public Television.
In his words, this is nothing more than the connection of the railway systems of Armenia and Russia. "In the event of a successful outcome of the trilateral negotiations, it will be possible to take a different path. However, in order not to waste time, we will do our best to connect the railways of Armenia and Russia, " Kerobyan said, noting that this will sharply increase the competitiveness of the Armenian economy.
Moreover, according to the minister, the launch of a regular ferry service will free one from dependence on the only land road through the Upper Lars checkpoint, which connects Armenia and Russia
