Head of  CBA  took part in 22nd meeting of Advisory Board on Monetary  Policy of Central (National) Banks of EEU Member States

ArmInfo.Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan took part in the 22nd meeting of the Advisory Board on Monetary Policy of Central (National) Banks  of Member States of the Eurasian Economic Union , which was held on  September 23 in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan). On September 24, ArmInfo was  informed about this by the press service of the RA Central Bank.

The meeting was attended by the heads of the Central (National) banks  of Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia, as well as the  Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Regulation and Development  of the Financial Market and the State Service for Regulation and  Supervision of the Financial Market under the Ministry of Economy and  Finance of Kyrgyzstan. The meeting was chaired by the National Bank  of the Kyrgyz Republic.

The meeting participants discussed the current economic situation,  the course of implementation of monetary policy in the EAEU member  states, draft agreements on a supranational body for regulating the  financial market, approaches to the implementation of standardized  licenses, as well as a number of other topical issues of integration  interaction.  

To mnote, the Monetary Policy Advisory Board is an advisory and  consultative body of the Central (National) banks of the Eurasian  Economic Union (EEU) member states. The main task of the Advisory  Council is to develop and deepen cooperation between the National  (Central) banks of the EAEU member states on monetary policy issues.
