ArmInfo.The grand opening of the Armenian pavilion at the EXPO- 2020 world exhibition took place in the capital of the United Arab Emirates. The event, which will last for six months, is attended by about 190 countries, which will present their vision of the future, discuss environmental issues and global cooperation under the main theme "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future". The organizers expect that about 25 million visits will be registered during the six months of the exhibition.
It was also noted that the government of the country spent $ 7 billion on holding an event of this scale. According to the Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan, the Armenian pavilion is represented by dozens of companies that work in the field of technology, agriculture, industry, pharmaceuticals, tourism, jewelry, etc. <Within 6 months we will do our best to increase interest in Armenia with from the point of view of investment, tourism, export, trade, "he said.
Noting that the exhibition is held once every 5 years, Kerobyan added: "All the countries represented here will try to demonstrate their exceptional features. In this regard, I would like to emphasize that Armenia, being an ancient state, has always been ethno-technological, and innovation and creativity is manifested not only in the technological, but also in a number of other directions.
