ArmInfo. The issues of the formation of common markets for electricity, gas, oil and oil products in the EAEU are categorized as systemically important. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated this on October 14 at a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (SEEC).
In particular, he noted that the formation of common sectoral markets in the energy sector is not just a task to fulfill the provisions of the agreement on the creation of the EAEU, but a necessary condition for the full realization of the potential of economic integration.
The prime minister stressed that this predetermines the complexity of the process of agreeing on the principles and mechanisms of the functioning of this market, which implies taking into account the different possibilities and interests of countries in the energy sector.
