ArmInfo.Iran is interested in cooperation with Armenia in the field of transport, infrastructure, agriculture and high technologies. President of Iran-Armenia Chamber of Commerce Hervik Yarijanian stated this during a meeting with Minister of Economy of Armenia Vahan Kerobyan.
As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, speaking about the problems that Iranian entrepreneurs face when supplying goods to Armenia, the President of Iran-Armenia Chamber of Commerce highlighted the inaccessibility of telephone communication between the two countries, as well as the issue of the availability of warehouses in Armenia. In this context, he stressed that the solution of these problems will greatly facilitate the process and have a positive impact on trade relations between the two countries. Touching upon the issue of the availability of warehouses, Vahan Kerobyan said that it is planned to create an Iranian industrial park in Armenia, which will also have customs warehouses. The minister proposed to discuss the possibilities of creating joint ventures that will contribute to the development of this park.
In addition, Vahan Kerobyan noted the importance of organizing a meeting for entrepreneurs of the two countries, which will allow Armenian business to get acquainted with Iranian production and help to enter the markets of the EAEU member states.
