A similar opinion was expressed by the Chairman of the Central Bank of Armenia Martin Galstyan during his speech at the 3rd " Summit of Minds". "Armenia is the ideal place where solutions aimed at transformations can be identified and implemented," he stressed.
During his speech, Martin Galstyan said that the Central Bank has become a champion in the process of digital transformation of financial services, which has become a priority for the Central Bank. In this regard, he assured that the Regulator is able to create the appropriate foundations for the development of the digital economy. "We expect appropriate participation from the private sector, we are also talking about attracting talents at the global level, innovative technologies, including human capital," he said.
According to the head of the Central Bank, the next important step will be the digitalization of settlement and payment services based on innovative solutions to improve the quality of services. "The world is becoming a laboratory for experiments, and those peoples and countries that have enough courage to implement this experience will receive the appropriate result," he summed up.
To note, the "Summit of Minds" is being held in Dilijan under the high patronage of Armenian President Armen Sarkissian. The plenary sessions of the Summit, which will be held in closed formats, are dedicated to two main topics: the development of geopolitical changes in the world and in the South Caucasus and technologies, in particular artificial intelligence and biotechnology in the 21st century. Within the framework of the summit, the program of the 6th festival of science and art STARMUS, which will be held in Armenia next year, will be presented.
