In Armenia, communications sector started to grow due to improvement  of dynamics of dominant telecommunications segment

ArmInfo. In January-September 2021, the revenue of the communications sector of  Armenia amounted to 108.7 billion drams, having increased by 4.9% per  annum (against 3.9% decline a year earlier).

According to the Statistical Committee of the Republic of Armenia,  the telecommunications segment dominating in the field of  communications (with a share of 90.7%) showed an increase of 5.2%  (against a decline of 3.9% a year earlier), with a revenue of 98.6  billion drams.

According to statistics, for September 2021 alone, the total revenue  of the communications sector increased by 2.5% - up to 12.7 billion  drams. Moreover, the telecommunications segment increased its revenue  in September by 2.7% - up to 11.6 billion drams. 

As a comparison, we note that in January-September 2020 the revenue  of the communications sector in Armenia amounted to 105.1 billion  drams, of which 95.2 billion drams fell on the telecommunications  segment.
