Armenia, Switzerland to abolish dual income and property tax taxation

ArmInfo.Armenia`s Minister of Finance Tigran Khachatryan and Mr Stefan Kloetzli, Swiss Charg‚ d'affaires in Armenia, have signed a memorandum abolishing dueal  income and property taxation between Armenia and Switzerland. 

The agreement provides for reduced taxation rates for dividends,  particularly raising the reduced rates from 25% to 50% and reducing  the taxation rates for dividends, down to 0.5% in case of  investments.  Minister Khachatryan pointed out the effectiveness of  the joint program and cooperation with Armenia, stating Armenia`s  willingness to expand it. 

In his turn, Mr Kloetzli noted longstanding Armenian-Swiss diplomatic  relations, with numerous joint initiatives put into practice. He  hailed the Armenian government`s steps to improve the business  environment and promote private investments in the current economic  situation.
