ArmInfo.. This January-October, 30,282 children were born in Armenia, with the birthrate being up by 0.4% as compared with the corresponding period of last year. During the period under review, the birthrate was 12.3% per thousand against 12.2% per thousand in the corresponding period last year.
This January-October, a total of 27,136 deaths were recorded, up by 6.3% as compared with the corresponding period of last year. The death rate was 11 per thousand against 10.3 per thousand last January-October.
In absolute figures, the natural growth of Armenia`s population was 3,146 people, down by 32% as compared with last January-October. The population growth rate was 2.3 per thousand against 1.9 per thousand in the corresponding period last year
