ArmInfo. FLYONE ARMENIA has canceled all flights to Russian cities scheduled from December 20 to January 31. According to the company's statement, such a decision was made due to circumstances beyond the company's control.
At the same time, the airline offers passengers of all canceled flights a full refund or transfer of funds in the name of the passenger to the Flyone Armenia online wallet in the amount of 120% of the ticket price. If the ticket was purchased through a travel agency, the company asks to contact the agency for a refund or change of dates.
At the same time, FLYONE ARMENIA will provide fast and safe transportation of all passengers of the Yerevan-Moscow-Yerevan flights, which were planned from December 17 to December 19, as well as provided the transportation of passengers on previous flights. "Our employees will continue to remain in constant and personal communication with passengers on all flights in the direction of the Russian Federation for a quick and timely solution of any problems that arise," the statement said.
The airline's flights to other destinations will be operated according to the previously announced schedule. On December 15, the first flight of FLYONE ARMENIA in the direction of Yerevan-Moscow was canceled due to certain circumstances, including those related to the concerns of the competent Russian authorities to counter the coronavirus pandemic. At the same time, the airline was able to ensure fast and safe transportation of all passengers of these flights to their destinations.
It should be reminded that in May this year it became known that the Armenian multi-profile concern SIL Group, together with the Moldovan FlyOne airline, is establishing a new airline, FLYONE ARMENIA. On October 27, 2021, the CAA ARMENIA (Civil Aviation Committee) issued an Air Operator Certificate to FLYONE ARMENIA. The company was assigned a two-character IATA 3F code and a three-character ICAO FIE code. The airline's fleet consists of the Airbus A320 Family aircraft, which are designed for 180 seats and comply with all International Air Transport Association (IATA) and EASA Security standards. In a pandemic, aircraft are equipped with HEPA air filters that kill 99.97% of viruses and bacteria. At the end of November this year, the company announced the launch of air ticket sales in 7 priority directions: Moscow, Tehran, Lyon, Tel Aviv, Krasnodar, Kutaisi, Tbilisi and Istanbul. Today's flight to Moscow was supposed to be the first. It was reported that in the direction of Yerevan - Moscow the airline will launch a flight with a frequency of 2 times a day (cost from 39 euros), the flight from Yerevan to Tehran will be available on Thursdays and Sundays (from 39 euros), Yerevan - Lyon - on Wednesdays and Saturdays ( from EUR 44), Yerevan - Tel Aviv - on Thursdays and Sundays (from EUR 39), Yerevan - Krasnodar - on Mondays and Fridays (from EUR 39), Yerevan - Tbilisi - on Wednesdays and Saturdays (from EUR 39), Yerevan - Kutaisi - on Thursdays and Sundays (from 39 euros) and Yerevan - Istanbul - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays (from 39 euros).
