Armenia`s Ministry of Territorial Administration sums up 2021

ArmInfo. The highway connecting the Melikghyugh community, Aragatsotn province, with the M-3 highway has been completely renovated, reads a Facebook message  by RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure Gnel  Sanosyan. The renovation work was funded from Armenia`s state budget,  the agreed cost being AMD 522mln (about $1,092,000).

At a meeting summing up the year 2021, Minister Sanosyan spoke of  numerous fields to be coordinated by the ministry and stressed that  the staff must show great responsibility.

According to the 2022 draft budget, the ratio of capital expenses to  the GDP is to be raised up to 5.1% against the 3.2%. With low-level  budget performance in the previous years in the context of projects  coordinated by the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration and  Infrastructure, the target figures may not be ensured, which, in  turn, may affect economic growth in Armenia. According to an analysis  by the economic team of the Luys foundation, 1.1% underperformance  will cause a 0.3% loss of GDP growth
