ArmInfo.In 2021, 572 km of roads were built and repaired in Armenia, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Genl Sanosyan said on December 30 at the last government meeting in 2021.
According to the minister, medium repairs have been completed by 100%, capital repairs - by 95%, credit programs - by 94%.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Defense and by the order of the department, another 92 km road was built. Of the 20 km of the road on the Tatev-Ltsen section, earthworks have been carried out for 13 km, active work is being carried out on the 9-km section of the Kapan-Chakaten road.
In general, in the outgoing year, taking into account also subvention programs, 750 km of roads were built. According to Sanosyan, road works, in particular, in the Syunik region, will not be interrupted either in the winter months. The goal is to complete excavation by March-April and prepare for asphalt paving.
