
ArmInfo. A number of Italian companies are interested in investing in Armenia's agricultural and energy sectors, RA Minister of Economy Vahan Kerobyan wrote in a Facebook message.
Specifically, the Agroittica company plans to invest a total of EUR 25mln in the construction of a sturgeon farm in Armavir and in the production of black caviar.
The Mea company plans EUR 30mln investments in the construction of a stock-farm with an up-to-date slaughterhouse, with biogas and vermicompost production.
Cinausero Unika plans stock-farm construction in Armenia as well. At their meeting with Mr Kerobyan company representatives said that the company's farm in Italy with 15,000 swine is operated by a three- member staff.
The Torri Solare company is interested in Armenia's energy sector.
Investors plan to establish solar cell panel production in Armenia.
In January-November 2021, the Armenian-Italian trade turnover totaled $262.6mln. Exports reached $57.4mln and imports $205.2mln
