ArmInfo. Armenia and Catalonia are considering opportunities of cooperation in the IT field.
RA Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry David Sahakyan, Armenian Ambassador to Spain Sos Avetisyan and Victoria Alsina-Burgues, Minister of Foreign Action and Open Government, Government of Catalonia, held a meeting on the sidelines of the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Armenia had its pavilion at the event. The Armenian officials visited the pavilion and saw the software by Armenian startups, discussed cooperation prospects and inquired about Spanish companies.
Mobile World Congress is one of the world's largest IT exhibitions, with over 100,000 visitors. Among the sections are mobile innovations, development of mobile applications, open mobile systems, mobile internet and entertainment.
