ArmInfo.According to the results of Q1 2022, the list of 1000 large taxpayers in Armenia was headed by the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine (ZCMC), which paid 35.4 billion drams to the state treasury (with a 3.6-fold y-o-y growth), of which 402.7 million drams - on customs duties, 13.4 billion drams - on direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), 594.1 million drams - on VAT. A year earlier, ZCMC held the 3rd place. This is evidenced by the published data of the RA State Revenue Committee.
The five leaders in total paid 77.9 billion drams in taxes to the budget (with a y-o-y growth of 51.6%), of which 25.1 billion - for direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax) with a y-o-y growth of 28%, and 30.1 billion drams - for indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax) with a y-o-y decline of 35.6%.
"Gazprom Armenia" company, moved down to the second place, (from the 1st place a year earlier), having paid 20.1 billion drams to the state budget (with a y-o-y growth of 7.5%), of which 8.5 million drams were for customs duties, 1.5 billion drams for direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), 18.2 billion drams - VAT.
The third place was occupied by the state department represented by the Office of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, which occupied the 2nd place a year earlier, having paid over 8.6 billion drams to the state treasury (a y-o-y decline of 42.6%), of which 8.3 billion drams is income tax and 38.7 million drams -VAT.
The "Grand Tobacco company " moved up to the fourth place from the 7th year earlier, having allocated 7.9 billion drams to the state budget (with a2.5-fold y-o-y growth), of which 693.5 million drams were for customs duties, 949 million drams - for direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax), 2.4 billion drams - VAT.
The top five is closed by the International Masis Tobacco company, which ranked 4th a year earlier. The company paid 5.9 billion drams to the state budget (with a y-o-y growth of 41.4%), of which 701.9 million drams were for customs duties, 1.03 billion drams for direct taxes (profit income tax, income tax) , 1.2 billion drams - VAT.
After them, the top ten was followed by the "Flash" oil-trader (6th place, against 8th a year earlier), Teghout (7th place, against 18th a year earlier), Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine (8th place, against 75th a year earlier), Electric Networks of Armenia (9th place, against 81st a year earlier), and Soft Construction closes the top 10 leaders (against 21st a year earlier).
In total, for Q1 2022 1000 large taxpayers in Armenia increased payments to the state treasury by 25.7%, providing a volume of 327.1 billion drams.
It should be noted that according to the results of Q1 2021, the TOP-5 included Gazprom Armenia CJSC, the Office of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, the Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine, International Masis Tobacco and GeoProMining. In total, they transferred 51.4 billion drams to the budget (with a y-o-y growth of 10%), of which 19.6 billion - for direct taxes (including profit tax, income tax) with a 3-fold y-o-y growth, and 22.2 billion drams - for indirect taxes (including VAT, excise tax) with a y-o-y decline of 41.1%.
