Armenian insurance sector reports 35.5% increase in tax payments

ArmInfo. In the first quarter of 2022, the Armenian insurance sector's tax payment a total of AMD 667.7mln - a 35.3% year-on-year increase. Of this amount, direct  taxes totaled AMD 574.2mln (85.9%) - a 37% year-on-year increase. 

Among the leaders are: Nairi Insurance, which ranks 258th among the  1,000 major tax payers (522nd last year), with a total of AMD  219.3mln paid to the budget (AMD 200.3mln as direct taxes).  The  second leader is INGO Armenia, which ranks 322nd among the 1,000  major tax payers (313th last year), with AMD 170.1 paid to the state  budget (AMD 143.9mln as direct taxes). 

Rosgosstrakh Armenia ranks 347th (306th in the first quarter 2021),  with AMD 160.2mln paid to the state budget (AMD 133.8mln as direct  taxes).  

The Armenia Insurance company ranks 845th (939th last year), with AMD  63.8mln paid to the state budget (AMD 53.7mln as direct taxes). 

Among the five leaders is SIL Insurance, which ranks 977th (818th  last year), with AMD 54.3mln paid to the state budget (AMD 42.3mln as  direct taxes). 

RESO Insurance was not listed among Armenia's 1,000 major taxpayers  in the first quarter of 2022. 

Other financial organizations (banks and lending agencies) that  reported profits were not listed among Armenia's 1,000 major  taxpayers.
