Armenia, Georgia to expand cooperation in tourism 

ArmInfo. Medea Janiashvili Acting Head of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, will pay a visit to Armenia, which will afford opportunities to reach  agreements on effective cooperation in tourism between Armenia and  Georgia, Chairman of the RA Tourism Committee Sisian Poghosyan and  Georgian Charge d'Affaires Irakly Kvanchakhadze stated at their  meeting in Yerevan. 

The sides discussed expansion of tourism cooperation and  opportunities for joint programmes and highlighted the importance of  more efficient mechanisms and plan of action. 

In 2021, 70,660 tourists from Georgia visited Armenia.
