ArmInfo. Team Telecom Armenia, one of Armenia's leading telecommunication companies, will start constructing its business data center this year, Hayk Yesayan, CEO, told ArmInfo.
The design work is being completed. Team Telecom Armenia already allows companies to install physical servers and network hardware and lease server systems and cloud solutions, which implies the availability of a data center.
"We are providing all these services. We just want to launch a full-scale process and provide broader services, as we see growth there," Mr Yesayan said.
As regards the company's other activities, he mentioned including permanent modernization. The Team Telecom Armenia network is covering the entire territory of Armenia, but new technologies are needed to raise the traffic speed.
Team Telecom Armenia has introduced the New Generation Network (NGN), which provides 25GB/sec Internet traffic. The network is already working in Hrazdan, Jermuk, Kajaran and Gndevaz. In Yerevan, the NGN is available to 10,000 subscribers.
On October 29, 2020, the founders of Team Telecom Armenia, Hayk and Alexander Yesayan completed the acquisition of 100% of the shares of Veon Armenia thereby making one of the largest telecommunications companies Armenian again.
