Wildberries launches direct sales from Armenian entrepreneurs

ArmInfo. Wildberries opened the company's first logistics center in Armenia, thanks to which local business representatives got the opportunity to sell their goods on  the online platform using the <Marketplace> model (from sellers' own  warehouses).

As stated in the official message of the Russian online retailer,  entrepreneurs receive information about orders and deliver goods to  the sorting center in real time, from where the latter are sent to  customers. At the first stage, work on the <Marketplace> sales model  for Armenian entrepreneurs is available only within the country, but  in the future the geography will be expanded to other countries,  including Russia.

It is reported that Armenian entrepreneurs now have a simplified  registration procedure on the seller.wildberries.ru portal. <To start  selling, it is enough to go through a short registration and post  information about the goods>, the source says.

It should be noted that in 2020-2021, direct sales were also open to  business representatives from Belarus, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.

Wildberries is the largest online retailer in Russia, operating on  the market for 17 years. The geography of the company's presence  covers all regions of Russia, as well as a number of foreign  countries, including Belarus, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, etc.   Turnover of Wildberries in 2021 grew by 93% and reached 844 billion  rubles. Every day, 4 million orders are placed on Wildberries, the  monthly audience of the online retailer is over 113 million users  (MAU).
